Design + Know-How is a multidisciplinary creative agency based in Paris, France. Martine Trélaün is a designer and creative director from San Francisco, California. She has worked for tech + biotech giants, publishing stalwarts, food startups, athleisure and fashion brands, and was for a time the assistant managing editor of a Bay Area snowboarding magazine (Ride a shred sled!) In addition to design, Martine is crazy about dance, printmaking, toast, vintage scooters and yoga.
Born in Carmel, California, Terence Arjo is a designer, researcher and serial entrepreneur whose work investigates the emotional attachment we have to objects, and how technology enhances or derails human behavior. With a BS in Industrial Design and a Masters from ITP/NYU, he is as comfortable designing medical instruments as he is building hardware and software. His interests include cycling, rugby, surfing and babying his La Pavoni Europiccola.
Terence and Martine were the 2008 recipients of a grant from the Foundation for Living Arts in America for their project, Vanishing Soundscapes.
