A long time ago, there was a little movie called The Omen. Fast forward a zillion years (hey, we didn’t major in math) and a fresh version of hell was unleashed on the movie-going public on 06.06.06. Get it?
The brief was to create a series of Evil vs. Good illustrations that conveyed a sense of fear or hope. The duos were designed to deliberately not make use of The Omen’s distinctive imagery, to build interest in the remake as a wholly new property. These illustrations were animated and deployed as part of an online campaign to stir up dread and salvation ahead of the film’s release. We shot all of the photography on a frigid Winter afternoon in sometimes creepy New Haven, Connecticut.
